One of the core values of Code & Supply is enabling everyone to learn. C&S has a long history of providing scholarships to attendees in need. That is why we established the non-profit Code & Supply Scholarship Fund.

Who qualifies for a Scholarship?
Our goal is to assist individuals with the greatest need, individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups to enter and advance in the software industry, or both. Code & Supply Scholarship Fund is presently targeting people internationally matching these descriptions:

- People in financial need - unemployed, underemployed, retirees, students
- Members of Underrepresented groups. People who are members of the following groups, which are commonly known to comprise a very small percentage of the professional roles in the software community:
- Women
- Black
- Indigenous cultures, such as Native Americans
- Hispanic/Latino
- Gender, Sexual, and Romantic Minorities (GSRM)
- Physically or mentally impaired
- People seeking to enter the software profession - recent graduates, career switchers, folks on parental leave, non-traditional students

What does a scholarship cover?
A scholarship may be used to cover all or a part of a recipient’s travel, admission cost, and accommodations.
C&S donated several dozen tickets to the Scholarship Fund, so registration is covered, as well.
When is the deadline to apply?
For ticket-only requests, there is no deadline to apply. CSSF Selection Committee will award as many ticket-only requests as donated tickets are available.
For requests requiring travel reimbursement, the deadline to apply is May 14, 2020. Scholarships are granted as funds are available. After that deadline, if funds are still available, CSSF may still accept applications for travel assistance until . After that date, only ticket-only requests will be considered.

How can I donate my extra ticket to the scholarship fund?
You can reassign your ticket to scholarship@codeandsupply.co
. To do this, go to codeandsupply.co and ensure that you are logged in. Click on your username in the top right corner. Near the bottom of the user page, you will see your Purchases and your Tickets. Click Reassign on the ticket you want to donate. Enter scholarship@codeandsupply.co
in the box and click REASSIGN. That’s it!
Your donation may be tax-deductible in the amount for which you paid for the donated ticket. If you require a donation receipt, email scholarship@codeandsupply.co.
What is the relationship between Heartifacts, Code & Supply, and the Scholarship Fund?
